Simple mission statement template:

“I help [audience] [what you do] so they can [impact or result].”

Example of my mission statement:

“To help governments, organisations, and communities improve waste management by combining technical expertise with strategic communications, turning complex data into messages that inspire action and sustainable change.”

Example of my vision statement:

Ask yourself those three vision statement questions. Here’s mine:

“A world where waste is responsibly managed and valued, with evidence-based solutions and compelling communication driving cleaner, healthier, more sustainable cities.”

Mission and Vision Statement Tips

  • Keep it concise 1-2 sentences will do.

  • Write it in your voice, let it reflect who you are.

  • Let it evolve as you grow.
